Unaccompanied: The Soloist Summit arrives at Saltamontes as a celebration of raw, original music — where artists take the stage alone, with nothing but their sound, their stories, and the space to express freely.
After an overwhelming response, the summit returns bigger, bringing together a powerful lineup of seven artists — Elvis Lobo, Anirban, Jack Tucker, Sanchal Malhar, Valerie, Kalyani, and Blinston — each performing a 30-minute set of original or improvised music. No filters, no backing layers — just pure, unaccompanied expression.
Set in one of the most intimate spaces for live music in Anjuna, the evening is designed for close listening. Every note feels personal. Every performance carries its own world.
Adding to the night is a special moment — Asifa Hawk, a London-based singer-songwriter, joins the summit to debut her new track. Known for her signature “Siren Pop” sound — dark, hypnotic, and emotionally charged — her music explores themes of vulnerability, strength, heartbreak, and self-reclamation. With growing recognition across radio and media, and a strong visual storytelling style rooted in her background in film, Asifa creates more than songs — she builds entire emotional landscapes.
The summit will also feature a new jazz release by Mirabel, adding yet another layer to an already dynamic night of original music.
Supported by Ouro Premium Spiced Cashew Feni and Rangeela Vodka, the event stands as a reminder that independent music thrives through community, collaboration, and shared belief in the art.
For those exploring meaningful things to do in North Goa, this is more than just another event. It’s a gathering of voices, a meeting of creative energies, and a space where music is experienced in its most honest form.

Some days at Saltamontes, we serve food, drinks, music and dance. Other days, we’re reminded why we do what we do. Reviews like this one are a reminder that Saltamontes has always been more than a garden café and bar — it’s a space built on people, community, and belonging.
This is a review we received recently. Moments like these mean everything to us:
“So basically, Saltamontes was my home when I was here living in Goa from the 2020s until 2023, organizing parties here. Creating a safe space for queer people at Saltamontes was the biggest joy of my experience here in Goa both as a creator and as a supporter of the community. But now having moved away from Goa for the last two years, I came back to Goa and the vibe has shifted I don’t know where my people are, I don’t know what’s new and happening in Goa I just don’t know, but I thought why not just go back to Saltamontes and just see what’s happening there. I drove in, parked in my usual space because it’s still available because parking at Saltamontes is ample and free. Please come and park at Saltamontes I parked my car there, I walked in, Alexis was hosting karaoke I got my usual big hug from Alexis, I met my old friends, and then of course Abhishek behind the bar with the beaming smile was there to welcome me again and I felt like I was home all over again. After being away for two years, home now feels like Saltamontes.”
Stories like these are why we keep our doors open, our music loud, and our space safe. No matter how much time passes, Saltamontes will always be here — waiting, welcoming, and feeling like home.
At Saltamontes, what begins as a simple evening often turns into something more — a longer conversation, an unexpected song, a moment that stays with you. It’s the kind of place where you come for a drink and find yourself staying for the music, the people, and the atmosphere.
As one of the most loved spots for things to do in Anjuna at night, Saltamontes offers a mix that feels effortless. Live music sets the tone, whether it’s a soulful acoustic session or a high-energy band. The bar keeps things flowing, making it one of the most easygoing cocktail bars in Anjuna where the vibe matters just as much as the drinks.
But what truly defines the space is its people.
Artists, travellers, locals, and curious wanderers all find their way here, shaping a space that feels alive and ever-changing. It’s part of what makes Saltamontes a growing hub within the artist community Goa is known for — a place where creativity, connection, and conversation meet naturally.
There’s no rush to leave. No fixed way to experience it. You can sit back and watch, or get pulled into the rhythm of the night.
Because here, nights don’t just pass. They turn into stories.
Some nights are meant to be loud. Others are meant to linger.
Moonlight Sessions at Saltamontes are built for the latter. As the lights soften and the evening settles in, the music takes on a different quality — more intimate, more immersive.
Set in one of the most loved garden cafés in Anjuna, these sessions invite you to slow down. Live sets unfold gently, blending rock, indie, and acoustic sounds that sit perfectly in the open-air setting.
For those exploring meaningful things to do in North Goa, this is where music meets atmosphere. It’s not about rushing through a setlist — it’s about letting each note land, each moment stretch a little longer.
The kind of night you don’t just attend. The kind you stay for.
